Collision music have released the two singles to date from singer songwriter Steve Morano. Donna and Jacksons Corner have both received wide coverage on the internet, including a huge amount of hits for the video for Donna on Indie Artist Magazine in the US.Jacksons Corner has also received a lot of coverage on BBC Radio and TV too and the new video goes out on YouTube in mid January 2013.
And now his first album for the label 'Jacksons Corner' produced by Tom Anderson is available to buy and download. The album includes the single Donna, which was released in August 2012, and was a first taster of what the album holds in store. It's a soulful boy meets girl song with the sort of catchy sing along chorus that has a way of embedding itself in your day, once you’ve heard it you won’t stop singing, humming or whistling it, Donna was an instant and easy choice for a first single. The video to accompany the release, up on our Youtube Channel http://www.youtube.com/user/collisionmusicUK features the people and places of Steve’s hometown of Reading and was shot on a day of sunshine and rain which rather aptly complimented the story within the song.
The second release, the title track 'Jackson's Corner' came out in November 2012 to coincide with the announcement that the legendary Reading store is to close in 2013. The new album features 9 great tracks to go along with he first two singles and is available through all the usual online outlets as well as on CD at gigs, and very soon via the website too.
Having discovered a passion for music at the tender age of nine, Steve Morano's sound has developed over the intervening years to fall in to the Folk, Americana and Singer Songwriter bracket. He has really honed that style and song writing over the last few years, both singing in bands and performing as a solo artist in the UK, Europe and the US. A regular at Guilfest over the last 5 years and standout performances around London and the South of England are now being translated into a new album titled 'Jackson's Corner', featuring a full ensemble of talented Berkshire based musicians, that will be released in the Autumn of 2012.
